The Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency continues to check the quality of Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) in Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands.
It is done in four RWs using hydrogen potential (PH), total dissolved solid (TDS) and turbidity meter.

"Of the four RWs, one of them or RW 04 is still under checking process and expected to be completed by the end of this month," expressed Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Abdul Rauf, Monday (2/24).
For the quality of distillation from seawater to fresh water comprising the clarity and availability of water is good enough.
"It is routinely done to really get good water quality to meet the needs of the island people," he explained.
During trial period since January, citizens receive free services and management, which will be handed over to PD PAM Jaya in 2021.
"SWRO water will flow between 6 AM to 10 AM and at 3 PM to 8 PM, every day," he stated.
